Default Traders Economy Is a Farse!

I just want to post what has been going on in with traders in GuildWars, and not just lately, but since they where introduced intot he game :

All prices are for a set of 10
------------------------------------------
Bones : Sell @ 100g || Buy @ 10g = 10%
Plant Fibers : Sell @ 100g || Buy @ 10g = 10%
Glittering Dust : Sell @ 100g || Buy @ 10g = 10%
Shells : Sell @ 100g || Buy @ 10g = 10%
Granite Slabs : Sell @ 100g || Buy @ 10g = 10%

Now to me if I sell someone something for a dollar, and they turn right around and sell back to me for 10 dollars, Id punch the guys lights out just on principle alone. So maybe we could add in a hostile feature towards NPC's for PRICE GOUGING. Thats not it though, lets continue shall we :

Lump Of Charcoal : Sell @ 230g || Buy @ 110g || Costs 300g to make
Damask Bolt : Sell @ 400g || Buy @ 190g || Costs 300g to make
Ink Vial : Sell @ 120g || Buy @ 50g || Costs 230g to make
Linen Bolt : Sell @ 190g || Buy @ 90g || Costs 250g to make

I could list every single rare and common material, and you know what? All of them have the same thing in common, and if you ever happen to come across any materials while your traveling, you should never ever sell it to traders because the buy to sell ratio is nothing less then price gouging... Ive never seen anything like this ever in my life... wait... oh yeah now I remember where Ive seen this, Tobacoo Companies, Gas companies, real estate, car companies, life insurance, medi-care.... yeah thats about on par with the price gouging that the guild wars economy is accustomed to!

In all seriousness, please could someone at least help me gripe enough about this problem where Anet will step back and look at the issue at hand, they want to stop grinding, and farming, and let players focus on having fun, paying ten times the price more then what you can sell it for is not fun, in fact its redundant and insulting to think that anyone would enjoy doing this. The major problem is there are two differant systems setup that conflict with eachother, the first is soft caps, where as nothing can sell to the player for under 100g, and nothing can be bought from the player for less then 10g. The second is supply and demand, they implemented this to give players a bigger impact on the economy, and guess what it did just that, I can go out and buy wood at 6g a pop from every noob in guildwars, in one hour in ascalon city I can horde 40 stacks of wood, turn around and turn that into parchment and sell it for mass profits, the players I buy from are happy, im rich, and only the economy suffers because just one person decides to make 2g off of every piece of wood he buys, and when you do that a million times it turns into mass profits and a sucken economy when it comes to parchment. Now just imagine thousands of people doing that everyday for months and months on all sorts of materials, and thats what has happened to the guild wars economy. I for one have exploited the system, will continue to do so as long as it makes all the gold i need to buy 80k runes, and 500k armor sets for all my guild members, and i am only one person... trying to be honest anyways!

Wait... you're saying in the first few paragraphs that items are being bought by the npc for too low, then you're turning around and saying people exploit the traders by buying low from players then selling to traders?

How the heck does someone fix that?

I agree completely. Even weapon items. You could sell a fiery Dragon sword (max, req 9-10) for about 1k in any city. You can sell it to a trader however for a whopping 50 gold.

IMHO, to solve this, things need a good price balance:

Glittering Dust : Sell @ 100g || Buy @ 75g

Damask Bolt : Sell @ 400g || Buy @ 300g || Costs 150g to make

Make sense?

And weapons? How about something NEAR of what they are worth. Start with the green items. 10k to the merchants...
What do you think?

right, the value set on items is always so low it astounds me, a gold fellblade maxed is worth like 300g according to the game, obiously worth way more. Everythign is like this, why is it that your not giving the value for the item when you sell it? if you want the real value you have to deal with spamming it in trade chat for hours, which is exactly why most people farm and salavage everything so they dont have to deal with the endless spamming of the same items rotating every 30 seconds in trade chat... a passive cause of grinding and farming? maybe it is, maybe it isnt, would guild wars be an obviously better place with a fix in this area... do you have to be a genius to figure this out? would it kill someone to balance this section of the game out?
